The 2023 summer capsule wardrobe is here! Of course it is mom friendly since I am a mother of 4 who loves to look put together but also rarely does heels or other “fancier” clothing. I truly love putting together these capsule wardrobes because not only does it give me inspiration for my own wardrobe but they’re really fun to organize and think through. I will be putting a capsule wardrobe together like this for each season (and each trip we go on). I hope that you find them helpful! At the end of this post you will see 15 outfit ideas using items from the capsule. I could probably come up with at least 15 more making 1 outfit for every day of the month but I kept it at 15.
2023 Summer Capsule Wardrobe + Outfit Ideas

Knit Sweater | I love adding a simple knit sweater to the summer capsule for cooler knits to throw on your shoulder or to put on. The image I used here is a Toast sweater that is pretty pricey but I also found this Theory one that is one major sale and gorgeous.

Denim Shorts | These Agolde Vintage Long Shorts are my favorite shorts I have ever owned. I got my typical size!

High Waisted Linen-Blend Shorts | I came across a high rise pair from Gap last year that I loved and they never got restocked but Old Navy hit the jackpot this year with these. I tried these and they’re VERY similar.
Minka Cargo Denim | Cargo denim is having it’s moment right now and I am just loving these cargo denim from Agolde
High Waisted Culottes | These are very similar to the Zara Marine Pant although I do think they have a tiny bit more length to them – such a great fit.

Hunza G Nancy Bikini | I am breaking away from the one pieces lately and digging two piece swimsuits. I thought that since I was a mother of 4 that maybe one piece swimsuits were something I needed to like and they’re 100% not so I am choosing to not wear those anymore because I don’t want to 😉
Linen Button Front Cover-up | I have this cover-up and love it’s simplicity. It can also be worn as a top – tie it in the front with some denim shorts!

H&M slides | These $17.99 slides feel so much more elevated and I have worn them for miles without any damaged feet! I love them.
