Hello + welcome to this tiny space on the internet! I created this blog (+ changed the name twice since) 14 years ago as a creative outlet from my career in the emergency room as a PA. After spending the past 7 (or so) years on social media outlets, I have decided to delete all of the ones associated with this blog and get back to the heart of blogging.
Another item that I have been wanting to compare is the Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan vs. Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Boyfriend Cardigan. This cardigan from Jenni Kayne is a piece that I wear year round and pull for often but the price tag is mind boggling. I scored mine on Poshmark with a small spot on it but it was worth it to save $200. When I found the Quince one for much less, I knew I wanted to compare them in person. The Quince one does sell out but was recently restocked. Let’s do this!

PROS/CONS
Overall, the clear winner here is the Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Boyfriend Cardigan. Not only are you saving 69% but you also have a longer return period and easier care instructions. The only pros I can see with the Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan is the fact that it is more size inclusive (which is very important) and that it comes in 4 more additional colors. I will also add that the draping in the front of the cardigan is slightly different with the Quince cardigan and I do prefer the Jenni Kayne straight down draping (see videos for detail). However, not enough to spend 69% more.
Thank you so much for this review! I love the Jenni Kayne cardigans but wince every time at the price. Finding a comparable alternative is amazing! Off to buy a Quince one now, thanks Lynzy!
Thanks for this review. My question is what size to buy. My JK fisherman sweater is 21” a cross chest seems to big and baggy on someone my age (; super senior) altho I am 5’3” and 140 lbs., and apple shape. 20” may have been better. Another issue is color. I have gray hair that is more platinum than white most around my face. Which neutral would you suggest.? You were lucky to find your on Posh!
