Hello + welcome to this tiny space on the internet! I created this blog (+ changed the name twice since) 14 years ago as a creative outlet from my career in the emergency room as a PA. After spending the past 7 (or so) years on social media outlets, I have decided to delete all of the ones associated with this blog and get back to the heart of blogging.
While we were away in Canada in August my dad built the kids a floating desk where they can do work + create. He used this laminate I got from Home Depot for the desk and this laminate board to create the chalkboards. This space has been a disaster with toy odds + ends for the past few years and we figured it was time to make the space a little more friendly for their growing ages. The other wall in this playroom has dress up clothes, a lifesize dollhouse that was given to us from a friend and 8 bins of their toys but overall the space is a lot more organized.
He had leftover laminate that he decided to make this large table with in the center. It serves as another area to create, play legos, or even build a cool fort 🙂
The bars + marker/pencil holders are from IKEA
Light – Amazon
Adjustable Wobble stools – these stools can move while they sit on them // scooped them up with a gift card we had! Height varies from 15 to 21 inches so it will still work when the kids are older.
A Kids Co Books – these are my personal favorite for the kids. These books are designed to help you open up conversations around important every day topics that come up in life
Wow. This is such a dream space ❤️
