This year’s fall capsule wardrobe inspired me to cut down on much of my closet. One of the fun things about “influencing” was being able to work with brands and increasing my wardrobe but it’s not sustainable and it actually makes it difficult to try and find outfits. I have donated much of my closet to friends and some items I put on Poshmark and then I donate 100% of the proceeds to charities. The most recent charity I donated to was to the Foundation for African Medicine + Education! Anyways, I hope that this blog post inspires you to cut down to the pieces you really love and that work for you. You do NOT need to have “all the things”, a few quality pieces that will last you year after year will make you happier! I kept this capsule down to 21 pieces including shoes and accessories! There are so many outfits you can make from these pieces and I give you 12 outfit ideas in a collage towards the end of the blog post.

Trench Coat | A camel trench is such a classic for your wardrobe and this one is beautiful!
Green Cargo Jacket | I LOVE my Madewell cargo jacket from a few years ago! This is the current style that they have!
BOTTOMS
Floral Ditsy Dress (Maternity version) | Absolutely love the colors in this dress for fall and would look really cute belted! I will show you this on!
I noticed that this dress from Old Navy is already (sadly) sold out. I will continue to look for alternative options, here are a few:
High Rise Tapered Cargo Pant | these are a great pair of pants that transition well into fall. Personally I still LOVE wearing cream colored pants throughout the fall + winter and these are great.
Alicia Skirt | My favorite skirt in my wardrobe. Dress it up or dress it down. It has a high slit but you can barely tell because of the way the fabric falls and it’s just perfection!
Black Leggings | My absolute favorite leggings of all time – I wore them all the way throughout my last pregnancy and they didn’t lose their shape at all!
Black Denim | Love the wider leg of these!
SHOES
Lace Up Boots | My Madewell lace up boots are my go-to boots for fall + winter. I wore them during our entire trip in Ireland and they are incredibly comfortable
Freda Salvador Sneakers Finally dove in and purchased these after Karla and Natalie convinced me. They are an investment piece but they are incredible comfortable, easy to clean and I love the detail on the sides.
Rothy Flats | the best flats – I love the pointed toe and they are so comfortable!
