Hello + welcome to this tiny space on the internet! I created this blog (+ changed the name twice since) 14 years ago as a creative outlet from my career in the emergency room as a PA. After spending the past 7 (or so) years on social media outlets, I have decided to delete all of the ones associated with this blog and get back to the heart of blogging.
Every week I will have a blog post on what is currently on my radar, an extension of my newsletter for those that are interested. This is just a place where my thoughts will go, interesting shows we have watched, cool podcast episodes, books – anything + everything. Not having social media has been so freeing and I love being able to put all of these things into one place rather than into a 24 hour expiring story.
I hope you have an amazing weekend!
I love finding artists on Etsy and this ceramic artist is truly impressive.

Have any of you seen 22 July on Netflix? Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Paul Greengrass tells the true story of the aftermath of Norway’s deadliest terrorist attack. This movie tells the story of how the country took a path of healing and reconciliation.

Misogynistic Tweets Correlate With Violence Against Women -> there has been a lot of talk about misogyny and it’s possible link into violence/mass shootings. The recent shooter in Uvalde frequently harassed women online. There is also research suggesting that misogynistic language in a certain geographical area may be associated with rates of sexual violence. We need more research into this area.
