Hello + welcome to this tiny space on the internet! I created this blog (+ changed the name twice since) 14 years ago as a creative outlet from my career in the emergency room as a PA. After spending the past 7 (or so) years on social media outlets, I have decided to delete all of the ones associated with this blog and get back to the heart of blogging.
I am keeping these holiday gift guides to a minimum this year with only a few recommended gifts. I have found that many can be overwhelming with so many ideas and wanted to keep it simple. Here are the few items that I recommend for younger kids.
Anything Hess | my little guy was playing with a Hess Helicopter at a friend’s house this past weekend and his eyes lit up! These are timeless and provide hours of fun!
Lovevery Block Set | One of the contenders for what I am getting for our little one!
Stacking Rainbow + Wooden Stacking Semi Circles with Peg Dolls | I love these wooden sets so much and my kids will play for hours with these and the Magnatiles!
Little Passports – Young Explorers | An educational travel themed subscription box! They will uncover exciting countries and cultures through hands-on projects and activities.
Wooden Play Food + Kitchen | For hours of pretend play
Gymnastics Rings + Swing 2 in 1 | Great for indoors if you have the space!
Highly recommend Hess toy trucks. So high quality and unique. My grandpa used to buy us the new one every Christmas. My Dad continued the tradition with my kids until he passed away last year and now we are continuing the tradition.
I’ve recommended this to all of my friends who are looking for ideas and don’t want junk.
