Hello + welcome to this tiny space on the internet! I created this blog (+ changed the name twice since) 14 years ago as a creative outlet from my career in the emergency room as a PA. After spending the past 7 (or so) years on social media outlets, I have decided to delete all of the ones associated with this blog and get back to the heart of blogging.
This post is sponsored by Bombas. Thank you for supporting the brands that I truly enjoy.
I was introduced to Bombas about 2 years ago and I love this brand for a few reasons. First and foremost, they donate 1 item for every one item purchased. Did you know that socks are the number one requested item in homeless shelters? I love a company that thinks outwardly and helps others in their mission. To date, they have donated over 75 million essential clothing items. The socks, shirts and underwear that they donate have well thought through designs including versatile sizing, darker colors to show less wear and tear, and are anti-microbial so that you can extend time in between washes.
Their honeycomb arch support system hugs your mid-foot giving every pair a better fit. On top of that, there is a cushioned footbed that allows you to feel like you’re walking in slippers. They are honestly the most comfortable socks I have ever worn and now that I have tried them, I will never go back to another brand. They’re that good 🙂
Head over to Bombas and get 20% off for new customers!
Women’s Original Calf Sock | These are a great every day sock that I love wearing with my Converse sneakers
Running Ankle Sock | I wear these for my workouts. They’re breathable and moisture wicking.
Women’s Every Day Compression Socks | these socks come in 15-20 mmHg AND 20-30 mmHg – they’re perfect for long 12 hour shifts in the hospital
One last pair that I wanted to mention here are the women’s no show socks. These are great to wear with low profile shoes and they never fall down which is KEY with socks that are considered no show socks.
Have you ever tried Bombas? Let me know what you think of them in the comments!
