Hello + welcome to this tiny space on the internet! I created this blog (+ changed the name twice since) 14 years ago as a creative outlet from my career in the emergency room as a PA. After spending the past 7 (or so) years on social media outlets, I have decided to delete all of the ones associated with this blog and get back to the heart of blogging.
I am SO incredibly stoked beyond belief (!!!) to bring this new chapter of my blog and this Charleston travel guide to you today. I truly believe in traveling with your children (no matter their age) as much as possible to expose them to different cultures and ways of living. I want to create different posts on the places we visit throughout the year and highlight our travel with the children. With each new place we visit, I will find you the best places to eat with kids and the best things to do while you are there! For this post (and every travel post going forward) I will be putting together a travel magazine featuring the specific destination we visited.
Today, is obviously featuring our recent trip to Charleston, SC! We had such a great time visiting and can’t wait to go back someday. This travel guide has everything from tips to traveling with kids to the best places to stay and where to eat in Charleston. I will have more in depth posts on our hotel stay at the King’s Courtyard Inn and how to fly with children as well.
For now, please enjoy this PDF magazine guide that my heart and soul went into making for you all! 🙂

Wow! Y’all packed a lot into your visit! 🙂 I’m a born and raised Charlestonian, so it always makes me happy when people come to visit and have a great time. Since I had my daughter 3 years ago, it’s been fun to see the city through her eyes and experience all of the amazing stuff that the city has for little ones. You’ll definitely have to come back and try Kaminsky’s, Poe’s Tavern, and Jestine’s, three of my favorite places to eat!
This is so amazing. We live around Atlanta so Charleston has always been on my family vacation radar. I think we may have to squeeze in a trip with my 8 month old ASAP! Thank you so much! Really really beautiful and thoughtful. It’s so hard to find family travel posts of kid friendly things to do and you’ve done it!
Oh my goodness! That is such a lovely magazine! What an amazing trip!!!
